Sea Launch Contractor Roles & Responsibilities

ENERGIA LOGISTICS UNITED STATES (“ELUS”)

ELUS is a United States corporation, incorporated in the state of Delaware and based in Long Beach, California at the Sea Launch Home Port facility.  This organization functions as the prime subcontractor to Sea Launch AG and is responsible for the implementation of the ordered launch service. Additionally, it provides all engineering oversight and mission assurance functions. ELUS manages the launch operations at Sea Launch Home Port, and also performs mission integration, mission and range operations functions.  ELUS is responsible for contracting for and procuring all flight and ground-based hardware, as well as engineering and operations support services.

ENERGIA LOGISTICS RUSSIAN FEDERATION  ("ELRF")



Moscow based ELRF functions as the agent for the purchase and sales of Block DM-SL and Zenit-2S flight hardware between ELUS and its CIS contractors.  ELRF provides regular factory insight and oversight of flight hardware fabrication and assembly at contractor and subcontractors facilities. Transfers payments between ELUS and its CIS contractors and monitors payments to subcontractors. Contracts for the transportation of flight hardware to Home Port.

S.P. KOROLEV ROCKET AND SPACE CORPORATION ("ENERGIA")

Energia is responsible for fabrication and assembly of the Block DM-SL upper stage, the overall launch operations of the rocket segment at Home Port, and is lead integrator for payload integration, mission analysis (PIMA) and the monitoring of related subcontractors’ performance to schedule and providing technical services to ELRF.

BOEING COMMERCIAL SPACE COMPANY ("BCSC")



Boeing, is responsible for the Payload Accommodations (PLA) hardware and the PLA system integration and operation.  Boeing provides analytical support to ELUS for payload integration, mission analysis (PIMA), top-level launch planning functions, translation services, and marketing support for customers
