Dag Wittusen was named Chairman of the Board of the Sea Launch Company in 2009, having served as a member of the Board since 2007.

Wittusen is a Senior Partner and Advisor of Aker ASA, based in Oslo, and has been part of the executive management of the Aker Group of industrial companies for several years. Through its acquisition of Kvaerner ASA, a founding partner of Sea Launch, Aker has a 20% stake in the Sea Launch Company. Wittusen has extensive experience in international finance, investment banking, restructuring and industrial management. He worked at the World Bank in Washington, D.C., and also co-founded the Orkla Finans investment banking group in Oslo.

A Norwegian citizen, Wittusen holds a BA degree from Brown University and a MPA degree from Princeton University.
